"This place is CLOSED yet hotels.com keeps offering it online. I booked through hotels.com as part of my trip and when I got their and the hotel was no longer in operation, and it was a nightmare dealing with hotels.com. They are pushy and it is a mess. When I started demanding my money back, a pushy person who spoke broken English called to sell me ANOTHER hotel, but refused to give me my money back. I am realizing hotels.com is a racket."

"The surreal views, active birds, location, property features, and helpful staff are why we came back for a second time. We enjoyed a combination of active days where we loved the central location to explore Costa Rica, close to home days to enjoy Atenas and live like a local, and home days where we enjoyed coffee, the pool, and having a chef come in to prepare meals. Highly recommend!"
