Summer get away

Unit was darling and perfect for our stay. The city of Bellaire was cute and Alden was nearby and had wonderful little shops as well.

Very nice unit and location

We have come to this area each summer for over 15 yrs and have stayed in these types of unit and even houses. We enjoy the fact Shanty Creek is the middle of places we like to visit in the morning have breakfast and talk about where or what we want to do that day. And yes, we spent time at the beach area the sunsets are wonderful. The unit was just what we enjoy and like staying at....

Clean and well maintained property

Stay was amazing. This property is small but the space inside is utilized to the best possible extent it can be. We are a family with a teen and two small fur babies and never once did we feel cramped or like we were ontop of one another. Check in and out process was very easy and the property managers were available for any questions

Everything we expected

We are grateful for this property which is nearby to a family reunion. Everything shown on the website was exactly as we found it. For the size, there were so many nice features; stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee-maker, hair dryer. The AC cooled down the room quickly. The mattresses sank a little in the middle, but didn't keep us from sleeping well. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room other than to sleep and have breakfast; it met our needs nicely.

Good for budget

The walls are thin (we could hear all the kids talking/yelling in the next apartment and the downstairs tv). The bed is too soft for our preference and it is really hard to find a plug in a convenient place. However, it had everything we needed for a quick stay.

Comfortable Suite Close to Vacation Staples

We enjoyed our stay here. It is a small suite, that allowed access to amenities at Shanty Creek Resort and the hidden gem was the beach on Bellaire Lake. It was fairly clean. Someone definitely smoked in the place at some point despite no smoking signs, because I could smell it. Only one stove burner was working and no can opener in the kitchenette. There were extra toiletries in the bathroom in case you forgot anything, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a good experience at a great price.

Will definitely return

Having never booked anything but a hotel for a vacation I was a little nervous about how our condo rental would go. To say that I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, very well maintained and landscaped. The condo had everything that we needed and was a perfect size for my daughters and I and our dog. We loved how comfortable the beds were as other reviewers mentioned, and the quietness of the area. Skip and Kat were very helpful and super quick to respond with questions that I had. I only wish we had planned to stay longer, we were all sad to leave!

Loved our stay!!

It was perfect! Comfy, cozy and clean. Attention to detail in all the little extras and we really appreciated everything! Pools were amazing and the beds were so comfortable that we loved sleeping in them even better than our own beds at home! I need to know the name of the company that manufactured those mattresses! We are planning to book same condo during the winter ski season, too. Thank you!

Place was spotless and well decorated. Little baskets of extras (popcorn, toiletries etc) were a fun surprise. Very happy with the place and would stay again.
