The Cumberland Falls State Resort Park was a perfect jumping -off point to visit the area. I loved being able to take a hike from the parking lot down to the Cumberland Falls. After a long hike I spent time on the marvelous deck at the Resort. Such a beautiful and peaceful view.

The area around the resort is beautiful, but at least 30 minutes away from dining or shopping options. The resort does have a restaurant, but the menu is very limited and overpriced. The lodge rooms are sorely needed of a renovation which is coming in the end of 2025.
