It was a very pleasant stay as per usual its our 3rd time here in Wyndham Kalmış The staff is super friendly (especially the ones at the check in and breakfast buffet they were very friendly and cool and funny ) Felt like home

Best Hotel in Istanbul

We are World travelers! This is the first time we feel sad to leave a hotel… staff were so friendly, room service, cleaning crew went above and beyond. Our room view and the food was priceless. Staff put every effort to make our stay perfect. We took a private boat ride to the princess Islands. Yiğit made sure everything went well. This is our Hotel to stay in Istanbul! We can not wait to come back.

They charged a temporary deposit at the check in, and tried to keep a portion of it at the check out even though they didn’t mention it at the check in. Never experienced anything like this before. The location is not bad though

Amazing, Amazing and amazing. Can’t tell enough of the comfort in this hotel. The entire team, super nice super friendly and super professional. I stayed there for 2 times in January and February for about 2 weeks each and this gave me enough tome to evaluate and give a fair review. They deserve 10 stars and 5 is not enough. Cleanness, CSR service and rooms that are well designed and so beautiful. Food is amazing, staff are unbelievably trained to give you the best service. Would highly recommend them and I am going back in June for 2 weeks with my family. Special thanks to Mrs. Ege duty manager, and Merve guest services to make my stay feel like home. They are the best I wish they would work with me and for my company 👌. Other names are Umut, Gulen and Hazal lobby bar which was my everyday spot to work and chil. They are simply the best with the level of service they give you. Alihan and Anday in reception that made my check in and check out smooth and easy with a warm welcoming attitude. These are the name I remember but the entire team in morning and night shift are wonderful people. Hard to believe. Thank you again and will see you in June. Sanaz room 453.

I booked and prepaid this stay via Expedia. I was supposed to be given one discounted drink as part of my Expedia booking perk but never received it. Then after I checked out I received a list of charges associated with each night's stay and charges for a minibar which I never used. They never disclosed any of this upon check in or check out. There are other similar feedback/complaints from others who have reviewed this hotel. Totally dishonest. Do not give them your credit card for the security deposit as it was not part of the booking either.

Bathroom window was not closing properly which made the bathroom visible from the room. The room was told to be a non smoking room but had cigarette burns on the couch. All in all not the condition of the room was not acceptable for a hotel room on this category.

Gorgeous Hotel!

The Wyndham Grand Istanbul Kalamis Marina Hotel is a very elegant and grand hotel. The decor in the hotel is absolutely stunning, and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Our room was absolutely beautiful. The bed was comfy, and the decor was amazing! We were greeted by Ege who showed us around and accompanied us to our room. The front desk staff were also very accommodating, and the concierge was very helpful as well. Unfortunately, our breakfast at the Jiggers kitchen and bar restaurant was less than appetizing. My omelette had so much cheese on it, I could barely see the eggs. My boyfriend’s croissant had so much garlic on it that you could barely taste the eggs. After experiencing this breakfast, we declined to try the pricey buffet. The restaurant staff were friendly with the exception of one gentleman who was not very friendly at dinner one evening. Everyone else was very kind and helpful. Overall, this is an amazing hotel with great amenities. I didn’t find very many restaurants I liked within walking distance but there are some great restaurants on the famous Bagdat Street which is a short taxi ride away. If you want to stay in a beautiful hotel with gorgeous, spacious rooms, this is the place to be when visiting the Asian side of Istanbul.

Horrible experience at the Wyndham Kalamis!! First of all i booked a non smoking room, room and whole hallway smelled like smoke. But no problem, pretty common in Istanbul. I was there for a wedding and they were very disorganized. The main dish at the reception was unedible, very dry, everyone sent it back. The events coordinator and main sales guy was straight up trying to milk us for every dollar. We had a second room to use for getting ready and makeup etc, they had the audacity to come and ask me to take my blazer out of the spare room DURING MY RECEPTION INFRONT OF ALL OF OUR GUESTS. then they charged us for an extra night for a whole room just for storing the blazer in the room!!! Every room had some type of mysterious over charges and hidden fees. There are hundreds if not thousands of hotels to stay in all of Istanbul. Avoid this place, they try to scam you every chance they get. Special mention to Alihan and the front desk staff and all the management staff that did absolutely nothing to help. Avoid this place like the plaugue. Bunch of rip offs. Also in the end they called extra staff memebers and security guards to guard the front door as if we were gonna run off on 120 euro after paying 10s of thousands. What a joke of a hotel

Do not trust this company.

When I checked out there was no mention of any additional charge. When I got home my credit card had been charged. I contacted their customer service to ask what this related to. Got an email confirming they had received my query and they would respond in 7 days. I emailed them 3 more times. They never replied. They never told me why they took my money without my consent. They never returned my money. This is extremely dishonest.
