"Manoa was excellent overall. I travelled with my elderly mom and we had a great time. Everything is handicapped accessible. The rooms wer spacious and clean. Our view was fantastic. "The property is gorgeous, I loved my balcony view. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The pool was the perfect place to be after a long day of hiking in the rainforest. The only issue I had was with the hot tub on sight they were luke warm on the first day I asked a pool boy if it was possible to increase the temperature and within 45 mins the hot tubs were the perfect temperature. I was very please with how quickly the facility responded to my inquiry. The Buffet breakfast was amazing I looked forward to it every morning there was an array of different choices and a variety of options . The swim up bar was also a treat the bartender was really sweet. I had a few beers and ordered some nachos and was pleasantly surprised with how large the proportion was and it was delicious! Overall I truly enjoyed my stay, friendly staff about 15 min walk to town 10 min walk restaurants, and market. I would stay here again and highly recommend this facility."

"We loved Lost Iguana! This is our second trip to Costa Rica and our first to the Arenal Volcano area. The hotel grounds were lovely and very close to the Hanging Bridges. We booked a full day tour (bridges, volcano, waterfall) and spent the other two days hanging out at the pool/pool bar. We ate at the hotel restaurant for most of our meals and thought it was good and the price was reasonable. The breakfast buffet was also great. The hotel trail was also great (takes about 45 minutes). Be prepared to walk a lot of hilly terrain!"
