"In the process of semi-retiring, I chose to take much of my extended family to Panama covering several weeks. The property is a large estate that we were able to take advantage of 5 bedrooms with sometime as many as five families. With some great amenities, including a theater room (although aging video equipment (1080p versus more modern technology, but functional) and a pool.The property is aging but very functional. And the owners are awesome. When I expressed, I needed to work sometimes and wanted to repurpose one of the extra rooms, he magically showed up with a small but functional desk, that worked perfectly. The views of the home are amazing, and no camera can give the full experience. Every day was a pleasure sitting on the front drinking coffee. Even evenings brought enjoyment with night sounds and Firefly's. There is some very nice hiking right out the front gate, and many great activity options out in the local El Valle Anton.Overall, a comfortable and wonderful experience. I highly recommend the location for an extended multi-generational family to experience Panama. "

"I stayed for 2 nights with my mother at Dennis's wonderful Cabanas. It is a lovely property and has a wonderful vintage 50's era style and charm to the property. There was a sweet dog named Mimosa who was a greeter and become a fast friend during our stay there. The rooms are larger than we thought. It was a comfortable stay in the Cabanas and it has great hot showers. There were plenty of places to sit outside on the porch and also a hammock to relax in. The location is close enough to town to quickly drive in to find a restaurant to eat at. Dennis offered a nice little breakfast of coffee/tea, juice, fresh fruit and empanadas when we stayed there. Dennis and his family are such lovely warm people, we would gladly stay there again."

"This place is rustic but the host is so welcoming and it's well located a few minutes from the start of a popular hike. You can use bikes for free to get into the town centre. Communal kitchen is a bit cluttered but handy and has everything you need. Musica the Golden Retriever might just be the best dog in the world!"

"Amazing laid back stay in the beautiful Panama country side. Located right on a river makes for such a secluded private stay with great natural areas to explore. Dustin the owner being American made us a delicious American style breakfast - Fluffy cheese omelette with sausage. Highly recommend stoping by if your looking for safe, clean place off the beaten path. "
