This hotel is charming and has a long history. The staff at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer. Very helpful and accommodating. Our room was rather small and the double bed was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was decent (the breakfast room is really a cool space all made of red brick arches). We enjoyed our stay but it wasn’t anything spectacular.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel- it’s gorgeous, historic, the breakfast and breakfast room in incredible, the staff, namely Ann, took time to really speak with me every day. I can’t wait to return!

What a lovely hotel! Historic property, lots of charm. Located close to train station and in old town. Oldest elevator in Malmo! Staff was super accommodating and friendly, loveliest hotel room ever! This place has charm—our favorite hotel in Sweden!

The hotel looked like it had potential, but seemed worn and outdated. The front desk staff was very welcoming. But there were multiple cleanliness issues with the room itself, such as the bathroom didn't look properly clean and some stains on the sheets. The breakfast was not great, although the basement is visually appealing. We stayed two nights and ended up going somewhere else for breakfast on the second morning.

The location can’t be beat! So near central train station, as well as the historic squares and numerous eateries. The whole place had an air of history which I found charming. The room was very quiet, clean and cozy, a wonderful haven to return to after a day of exploring Malmo. There are art works displayed throughout the hotel, lending a sophisticated, contemporary feel, and all modern conveniences were in place as well. The breakfast buffet was varied and very ample. Highly recommended, hope to return!

Staff fantastic!! That said, this was one of the strangest hotels I've stayed in. It's steeped in history and it's clear the owner wants to pass on their knowledge and love for the hotel and it's history (dating back to 1200s) but it was a little bit much with all the notes everywhere, in every room, on every wall. It would have been enough to leave a history of the hotel booklet in the room and one in the library. There was also art everywhere in the hotel, making the impression a little messy and not so relaxing. Our room was ok, it was in the attic. The sloping ceilings made it a little trickier to get into the bed. The decor was completely mis-matched and so it didn't feel that relaxing. TV quite small but adequate. There was a kettle but the cable was too short to plug it in so I had to use the radiator as a table when I wanted to make a hot drink. Location excellent!!

Dejligt sted, men......

Vi havde en De lux Suite Der var ikke varme på radiatorene. 3 stk. så der var meget koldt, og vi måtte have en varmeblæser på værelset. Ikke særligt komfortabelt, da den larmer om natten. Desuden var der brugte shampoo og sæbe flaske i badeværelset.
