"Decent hotel very close to Kings Cross. Easy access from here by tube and bus across London. Good food and pubs nearby. Clean,, friendly hotel. Rooms okay size if you just wanting somewhere to sleep. Comfy bed and showers etc good."

"First time I’ve stayed at the double tree and it didn’t disappoint. Staff were very friendly and everything was clean as you would like it. I appreciated that shampoo and conditioner were provided in the bathroom as it saved me having to take mine. I did get a little cold in the room in the night, but I do get cold easily. I was the day’s diamond guest which meant I was granted access to the vip areas and given a free breakfast. Which was all really lovely and very unexpected. The breakfast was buffet style and I liked this as I don’t eat a lot but like variety. The cookie on checkin was again unexpected but a nice touch. Despite the hotel being on the main road I didn’t hear any traffic. If I was nitpicking I would say checkin/checkout could have been a little quicker but perhaps I just arrived at the wrong time. Queues didn’t seem too long but seemed to take a long time to get through everyone despite having multiple staff members checking guests in/out. All in all though I was really happy with my stay would recommend the hotel to others. I definitely would stay there again if I needed to be in that area. "

"Really lovely location in Shoreditch, close to quite a few metro stations (~15 min walking distance). Also very close to the hip area of Shoreditch (Boxpark and surrounding streets). Hotel itself was lovely - clean, well decorated rooms. Also quite spacious! Love that they have a carafe for you to get water - they have atill or sparkling from a machine by the elevators. They also offered me a voucher to use at any of their food offerings (coffee shop, bar or room service) if I declined to have my room serviced during my stay!"

"I love the sleek interior design of this hotel and pristine prompt service. The design reminds me of a fun cool train especially the elevator. The king room is absolutely gorgeous with a fantastic view. The amenities are excellent with high end Italian brand shampoo and soap. Our room service for breakfast was an absolute delight (ham cheese omelette, pancakes and matcha latte). Their location is right cross the major King Cross station (incl the Eurostar arrival station). The hotel also has a great rooftop bar. Definitely will come back to this hotel next time! P.S. I checked out yesterday and also posted the same google review with photos under Christine yesterday :)"
