Nusa Dua is a purposebuilt tourism complex in southeast Bali. The gated community offers luxuryseaside resorts, sandy beaches and water activities, and is famed for itssurfing.

Palm trees and manicuredlawns surround international resorts. Choose from high-end villas tobudget-friendly family accommodation. Many of the resorts offer all-inclusivepackages, so shop around for the best price. Relax in a spa, enjoy a Balinesemassage, or swim in Olympic-sized swimming pools. In the evening, choose from arange of dining experiences and see a traditional Balinese dance performance atone of the resort-run restaurants.

Hit the seaside for wateractivities and relaxation. There are three different beaches to choose from,each offering a range of activities. Take an early morning walk along the beachpromenade and see the sunrise. Watch the seaweed farmers harvest plants onGeger Beach while relaxing beneath the coconut trees. Take the kids to Nusa DuaBeach, a great spot for swimming and snorkeling. Go scuba diving, spotdolphins, take a ride on a glass-bottomed boat, or ride on a jet ski orsailboat. Tours and equipment rentals can be organized through the resorts.Many of the resorts have a beachfront that is serviced, so you have access towater and towels throughout the day.

Nusa Dua is famous for itssurfing. With an offshore coral reef, the surf here is great for both beginnersand the experienced. Take lessons or rent a board.

For those who prefer tostay on land, the Bali Golf and Country Club has an 18-hole green with views ofthe ocean. For a glimpse into Bali’s arts culture, visit the Pasifika Museum,where you can view art works by Matisse, Gauguin, and Theo Meier. Go shopping atthe Bali Collection shopping center, which has a mix of beachwear and high-endfashion stores.

Nusa Dua is a government supported complex with 24-hoursecurity. It’s a 20-minute drive from Denpasar airport. Most resorts offerairport transfers. Once there, get around on foot or by golf carts supplied byresorts.
