3/5 - Okay
Had to buy tickets ahead of time and didn't know. But when we got there the weather was bad and park ranger said don't bother. So we didn't.

Do not go despite what you may hear locally. Sulpher warnings going off and the volcano is active. It is sincerely a health hazard even though they restrict to 20 minutes. Also, do not go if handicapped. In an emergency you can not get out fast enough and it is not handicapped equipped.
Was somewhat disappointed. Needed a reservation to get in, $15/pp, there is one hike you can take in a group to the volcano, and you are limited to 20 minutes at site. Nothing else to do or see, no restaurant at our time of visit.
light rain and overcast clouds... couldn't see the crater or anything due to the weather.
the day we went there was no visibility....
Essentially closed due to activity. Paid $15 and for parking for a 20 minute visit. Can’t even walk up the steps for a higher view. Pretty much not worth it this time of year due to cloudiness.
