"I came to Hacienda Roman knowing that in this part of Peru, you can't expect all the amenities like WiFi, cable TV, etc. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you'll be happy with this hotel. The pros: Staff are quite nice. Food is tasty and available fresh on site. Personal attention, especially the tour of the coffee/jungle out back, is phenomenal. The entire stay was worth it just for this!! The cons: Cooking is unbelievably slow; it took us no less than 1.5 hours to finish a meal...

"Room is wide,having wide bed and with private bathroom each rooms. It’s cozy but good quality against price and location in the touristic town. Staff makes breakfast every morning,it’s basic but he made an omelet freshly prepared each costmers. Location infomation is messy,address and google map are totally different.So need showing correct information on hurry. Can clean up bathroom especially Washbasin. "

"We loved the location and warm welcome from the staff. However when we arrived at the room it was not in the best condition. Beds were comfortable and the sound of the rapids which came through the window, felt like a natural white noise. Breakfast included was continental and coffee was strong but very good. It is ok for a night but would not come back again."
