"Don't get me wrong, the couple was very nice. Let us check out their animals, go to the spring on their property, gave us a dozen eggs... However, I was under the impression there were beds, not air mattresses in the tent, air mattresses do not hold heat and are a poor choice when it gets cold becausethey ..."

I mainly just stayed there to sleep and eat , my activities were about 30 miles away

Great place for a long weekend. We ate at Missouri Hicks BBQ and loved the food and the atmosphere. We took some sauce home. Next day we ate at the Amish Cafe, great place clean and quick, with an assortment of cooking items to purchase. Great
