The jungle side property had all the charm we could hope for when visiting Bali and Ubud for the first time. The hotel is a drive into the main city center, giving you the feeling of seclusion and respite from the busyness that is Ubud. The staff helped accommodate cars, food, travel and tours… all with a smile! The most kind and lovely staff work here! And the daily breakfast was so delicious!

It is a cozy hotel with small swimming pool surrounded with beautiful trees. The staff are kind and caring but some of them seem less experienced. The location of the hotel is quite far from Ubud center and there is quite some traffic taking usually 20-30 mins from the center.

Jungle-style hotel 10’ from Ubud center. Location makes it perfect to relax and unwind. Plenty of choices for Breakfast and nice spa. They also offer some additional daily activities and personnel is very attentive.

Extraordinary, luxury jungle hotel in Ubud Bali!

This was one of the best hotels I stayed at during my trip throughout Asia, truly excellent! The location in the jungle right next to central Ubud was perfect for exploring the island; the staff was extraordinarily friendly and welcoming; the room was impeccable, with a supernice, deep-soak bathtub, and a great view of the jungle and pool; the pool was beautiful; the massages, included as part of my reservation, were also great; and the food was, by far, the best I had in Bali. You truly can't beat it; can't wait to stay there again next time I'm in Bali!

From the time we arrived at Arkamara to the time we left, we were made to feel special and welcome. The care and service that people working there provide us is top notch. The food at the restaurant, spa service, room service and front desk were extraordinary. We will definitely go back there next time we visit Bali. Staff welcomed us with open arms, they were very friendly and answered any questions we had. Every time we saw them they gave us a warm welcome and asked us if we needed anything. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and they decorated our bed with a “happy birthday” message and the brought out a surprise birthday cake for her at the restaurant. Best service I have had at a hotel ever. We were treated like kings and queens. I could write an entire essay of how staff went above and beyond for us. Food was amazing, the included breakfast was very filling and had lots of options to choose from. The drinks were very tasty as well. I recommend trying the floating breakfast one day. The events each day at the restaurants on the resort had a great variety of Balinese culture and music. The pool was very warm and had a great view of the jungle. We received a massage at the spa onsite and it was well worth it. The staff made us feel very relaxed and “at home” The resort was very clean, beds were so comfy and the room service was incredible. If you’re in Ubud I highly recommend staying at the Arkamara. My girlfriend and I do not have one complaint. If your looking for a quiet relaxing resort with friendly staff, great views, beautiful rooms with comfy beds, great food and great service the Arkamara is the place for you. This resort should be a “6-star”

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The property is beautiful. The staff is friendly and personable. What we love most was the serenity of the property and its seclusion. The room was a Large. We stayed in vila so we had our own pool. The restaurant on the property was inviting and the food for the most part was very good. They were a few dishes We weren’t Keen of only because it’s not what we were used to being Western. There was construction going on at one of the buildings, but it was not something you could see unless you went up to that building. The pool was a little cool I’m just a person who does not like cols pools. The spa on the premises was convenient and we had no issues booking spa treatments when we wanted to. overall we plan to come back and stay at this establishment!
