The old gal’s got life in her yet!

This hotel shows its age with worn furnishings and grungy bathroom grout, but the bed was very comfortable and the room very quiet midweek. We walked the block + to the sister hotel, the Penn Wells Lodge, for the complimentary hot breakfast, which was tasty.

Beautiful old historic inn. The lobby area was lovely. Breakfast was included which was a nice extra. There’s a spacious outdoor courtyard where we could enjoy happy hour. The downtown is cute and walkable with some nice shops and restaurants. Less than a half hour drive to the Grand Canyon of PA.

The staff of the hotel and the dining room were amazing. Always knowledgeable and helpful Fine old historic hotel with lots and lots of charm. The food in the dining room deserves five stars!

Very historic hotel. Very clean and employees are friendly. Wellsboro is a great place to visit with plenty of places to eat in walking distance. The surrounding area is beautiful.

We like the atmosphere. Dave was great in getting dinner reservations. Did not like that we had to walk to the lodge for breakfast . Not bery many options for breakfast either .
