We encountered untrained staff, who would say no
to any basic requests without any hesitation. We dialed the front desk for some sugar day one on arrival, we were refused! It should have been kept in the room but was missiig. I had to go down and collect it myself. I was told by the front desk there are no house keeping staff after 5pm!! We couldn't get an coffee sticks! The front desk staff were mostly clueless and rude when enquires about any nearby attractions and they had no interest in helping guests. No, language barrier could be one thing, but the whole approach made us less welcoming. So it was really disappointing. The buffet breakfast was the only good thing. the cafeteria on the first floor was equally terrible in terms of what they offered and the quality. There was no other restaurant available in the hotel. But the rooms were not bad for the price you pay, despite next to main road, it wasn't noisy. Overall it was a clean place. If they could add some more English speaking statf and train them to improve customer experiences, spruce up dining the place has potential.
