"An excellent eco-lodge hotel, away from the town, and hidden in the mountains with amazing views over the valley, particularly from the valley rooms. Super helpful and friendly staff who were able to organise everything pre-arrival and during our stay including tours and transfers from the airport. The bar and restaurant were also excellent with a range of quality food and drink items."

"I will start with the good part: staff were friendly, helpful and patient with my limited Spanish skills. The room I received was poorly equipped and seemingly in midst of reconstruction. Although this was a budget decision and I didn't pay much, the price should cannot justify missing toilet seat and broken shower with one temperature: cold. The water was flowing in one stream like from a hose attached to the wall. The walls had numerous wet stains and dark spots that I decided I won't inspect closer. You'll get one towel and one tiny soap bar which you will be moving from sink to shower. Liquid soap dispensers were empty. There were stains on the sheets and other signs of dirt around the room. Not suitable for people with any issues, the stairs are steep and there's no elevator. Luckily, I only stayed overnight and left early in the morning. Owners should act swiftly to make these rooms at least half decent. Again thank to the reception staff who are friendly and hard-working. "

You are warmly greeted by Senora Mendieta and her youngest son Esteban, and immediately welcomed into their family. The guest rooms are spacious and simple, beds are comfortable, showers are hot, balconies or patios have incredible views of Rio Magdalena and surrounding countryside, a luxurious riverside jacuzzi area with the same special views, a very charming open air kitchen (which serves delicious homemade breakfasts, lunches, and dinners) next to an inviting open air dinning area, lovingly manicured grounds with an abundance of flowers, vegetable and herb gardens, orchards, a campfire site, and of course a vast array of farm ‘critters’ to interact with - wow - just WOW!!! It truly is a Colombian gem, and destination not to be missed - a wonderful opportunity to unplug and enjoy nature. We’re already planning a return trip for an extended stay - can’t wait. This is a 10 ⭐️ property!!! Muchas Gracias to our new Colombian familia 🙏 - Nos vemos pronto."
